$$ At the completion of the filling operation the container 1 is depressurised by venting it through the outlet 19 and then the neck of the container is released by the head 5. (USP4573505)
$$ The gas trapped in the head space 60 is thus free to exit through the pipe and orifice 40 when the can is depressurised as when broached before dispensing its contents, and a good foaming froth head is produced by the emission of a stream of bubbles from the orifice in known manner. (USP5660867)
$$ After the pressure equalisation step, or steps, the bed is subjected to depressurisation. (USP4778670)
$$ The outlet 14 and connection 16 are closed to isolate the slurry pump 15 and that part of the circuit is depressurised at this stage. (USP6315837)
