ADJACENT 隣接する、隣合う -->contiguous, adjoin

adjacentは必ずしも直接には接していなくてもよいと言われているが、直に接していることも多いので、明細書・図面で確認されたい

adjacent自体は形容詞であるが、副詞的に用いられることも多い。
但し、位置する(positioned, located, disposed, be, etc.)の意味でのコロケーションが多い。
